Download Cabal Philippines Installer – Writing ini Files Values Error

I’ve been seeing cabal related comments here at gamerster.com that some visitors were having hard time in downloading the cabal installer from e-games official website. Since I’m taking a break from SC2, what I did I tried downloading the installer and I successfully downloaded the game without any problem. But when I installed it I’m getting this writing ini files values error at the end of the installation. I waited for couple of minutes but the message won’t disappear. Eventually I cancelled the installation and it hanged again when it attempted to do the the installation rollback.

The next thing I did was I clicked the unfinished cabal icon on the desktop and suprisingly the Cabal client launches and started patching itself. Now thats interesting. It took few minutes and finally I was able to revisited Cabal Philippines.

For those people who cannot download cabal installer maybe when you tried it there was an internet slow down or similar issues. You can try it again. Right now I can really say the Download page from egames works.

Its been months since I last visited Cabal Philippines. Then after receiving a mass alert on my cellphone from Cabal Txt, I decided to take a look my level 72 character and check whats new with the game. After roaming around for few minutes I ended up checking the Premium Shop and after that I captured some new premium item images and started this post.

Lord of War patch will soon be implemented to Cabal Philippines game client. To avoid interruption in your gaming experience it is advisable you download the patch even before the implementation of the said patch.

Nation War on Cabal Now Updated

The Cabal Philippines game Client just recently got updated and the good news was that the Nation War patch now included. It fixes also the crafting bug which was reported by the Cabalistas few weeks ago.

The Nation Wars

You can only join the Nation Wars after you complete the Nation Quest, which you can take only upon reaching level 95. After you’ve chosen either Capella or Procyon, you can take part in the daily struggle for National dominance. Only the first 100 heroes from each Nation can enter Tierra Gloriosa, the War Server. The two Nations will battle over the outposts that are being controlled by massively powerful guardians. The Nation that takes control of the opposing Nation’s capitol will control the battlefield.

 

The war will go on day after day, however due to the agreement that Capella and Procyon entered with Sirius, the war can only last for one hour (1hr) per day. Entry to the Nation War costs 1,000,000 Alz, which will not be refunded regardless of whether you quit or get disconnected. The lobby is open for half an hour before the Nation War so that the members of each Nation will have time to plan their strategies, purchase items from the Grocer, leave items with the Agent of Port Services, and recover from their previous battles. While only 250 players can enter the lobbies, only 100 from each Nation can take part in the Nation War.

 There are two kinds of Nation Wars: Personal and Mission.

 Personal Nation Wars–is a general battle where players receive rewards based on the number of outposts they overtake and enemies they killed. It takes place once a day from Sunday through Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours.
Mission Nation Wars–after a Mission Nation War, all members of the Nation that won will receive spoils of war. Mission Nation Wars take place once every Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours and on special events.

Cabal Level Cap adjusted to LVL 150

Cabal Online Community have the reason to be excited tommorrow after cabal GM announced in-game the increase of Level CAP of cabal Philippines to level 150. This will be implemented after the maintenance tommorrow. Cabal  Skill rank “Transcender” will be applied soon.

How to fix CABAL driver error and PC rebooting issue

I’ve been going into the process of opening several applications or programs first on my PC before running Cabal Philippines until today when I tried the following solution. But before going to the steps I only tested this on the following computer specifications :

AMD Atlon64 2.4GHZ
1GIG RAM
512MB Radeon Video Card
WindowsXP Sp2
with Pldt myDSL 512KBPs.

and

AMD Sempron 2.0GHZ
512MB RAM
128MB Ino3d video card
WindowsXP Sp2
with digitel DSL 800++KBPS
Problem : computer restarts automatically when cabal client is open right after windowsXP is loaded and Internal Driver Error.

Temporary solution : Open several applications / programs first before running cabal client.

Additional Notes : Computer with higher specification like 2GIG RAM and better video card  might not have the problem I experience.
Solution to the problem :

1. In the window screen I Clicked <Start> then <Run>
2. Typed regedit to launch registry window.
3  Then went to the following :

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

4. Doubled click on “PagedPoolSize” then I chose Hexadecimal.
5. typed 18000000 to the value textbox. default value is zero.
6. closed window and reboot the computer.

After doing the above steps driver error and automatic restarts of cabal client was gone.
