Guild Wars 2 Review – First Glance

Its been a year since Guild Wars 2 has been released and several days ago they open their door for a three (3) days game trial. I simply grabbed the opportunity to try the game. If you are not aware on how things work in order for you to play Guild wars 2 well, you should purchase their game digital copy or from game store with the box.

Guild Wars 2 is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Since there is a number 2 on it, this mean this is a sequel to Guild Wars game series. You can buy DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION for 69.99USD or DIGITAL HEROIC EDITION for 49.99 USD. Sometimes they also go on sale so you just check out their shop at

Guild Wars 2 Race

The game got 5 races namely Asura, Charr, Human, Norn and Sylvari. Each of this character has its own story, strength and skills. There are also profession to choose from. You can pick any of the following :  Elementalist, Warrior, Guardian, Engineer, Ranger, Necromancer, Thief and Mesmer. You can also setup up the Physical appearance and characteristics of your character.

GamePlay, Story Lines and Graphics

For this first glance review, I only played Human Race with Mesmer as the profession and so I can only focus on that. The story line starts on Shaemoor village where  Centaurs continuously attacking and you need to help out in defending it. While you are roaming the village you can also hear side chatting of in game characters. After the combat with the enemy you will be injured and will become unconscious for 3 days. When you wake up you will know the complete story of what had happened.

The graphics is really great. Environment is very fine, vibrant and soo attractive. While combat animation is simply one of the best out there.
