Introducing the Playstation Move

The motion gaming competition is starting to be more interesting as Sony is going to release its Playstation Move this September 17, 2010 for $399.99 and that would be around P18,000++. This product will be a directly competing with Nintendo Wii and Microsoft controller-free Kinect motion camera system.

PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye camera to track the wand’s position, and sensors in the wand to detect its motion. The PlayStation Move motion controller features an orb at the head which can glow and detect the player’s movements and translate them into gameplay.

PSP System Update ver 6.31 for PSP Go

After weeks of not using my PSP Go, my nerves finally decided to tell me to check on some PSP GO Downloadable Demos over at PSP store. I came to know that PSP ver. 6.31 is already available. The main feature of this version is that Games can now be grouped and displayed in folders based on format under Games Menu.

To update your PSP GO just visit PSP Store from your PSP GO.

PSP GO hangs or freezes

My PSP GO hangs and turned to black screen while I was playing this  NBA2010. At first I thought it was just the battery got drained and needs to recharge but when I tried turning the power off  it won’t power down. I kept on doing it but the PSP GO freezes big time. My next option was to leave it until the battery power will be zero.  Eventually the power turned and then I plug it to socket for recharging the battery. I then tried turning it ON… Viola! everything went back to normal.
If this will happen again maybe I should restore its setting to its original state.

Sony Playstation 3 Bug

A glitch was reported  in Sony Playstation 3 that disconnect users from console’s online network which  likely caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system.  PS3 users start seeing date of the systems being reset to Jan. 1, 2000.  The problem is affecting older PlayStation 3 models, but not those  newest slim version that went on sale in September of last year.

Sony Corp. warned also their PS3 players a data loss could occur if they will continue using their console not until the bug is resolved.

New Final Fantasy XIII hit Japan Stores

Three years and Nine months after Japanese gamemaker SquareEnix finally released the new Final Fantasy XIII in Japan while other countries like in North America and Europe will follow next year. Initially the Publisher shipped 1.8 millions for the Final Fantasy fans and new breed of console gamers.

Final Fantasy XIII is set to be for Sony’s Play Station 3 (PS3) and with hopes would boost PS3 sales.
