Diablo III coming this May 15, 2012

It’s officially announced by Blizzard that the latest Diablo franchise DIABLO III will be launched by May 15, 2012. According to Blizzard players who digitally pre ordered can immediately play Diablo III as soon as the servers goes live. While the new Diablo III will be also available at retailers on the following countries United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Characters included in Diablo 3 are barbarian, monk, demon hunter, witch doctor, or a wizard.

Eonline also had their Top 10 Games of 2011. On the list:

As you can see the top Games from eonline.com is much different from the Top 10 Games we got from CNN. This is understandable as we have different tastes on a game and also it depend on which games we tried this year. Like for me I cannot really list my top 10 as I got stuck with Starcraft 2 and DC Universe Online which we can consider it as old games.

Philippines Welcomes Aika Global

T3 Entertainment and Hanbitsoft Inc. together with Redbana Philippines introduced Aika Global last August 27, 2010 as the Closed Beta launching took place in many countries except for Brazil and North America. So if you come from the Philippines don’t fret as we can play Aika Global.

As what I’ve mentioned in my previous related blog entry, Aika global is a fantasy Multiplayer Online Role Playing game or MMORPG. This game comes with six (6) unique classes such as : Warrior, Dual Gunner, Sniper, Crusader, Night Magician, and Priest. Aside from that AIKA online has this Prans that can assist your Aika character as you explore its dungeons.

Game of the Generals, the best thing I got this year

I was thinking of getting PS2 or PS3 but I realize I already have Nintendo Wii console in which the family still enjoyed using it and so I just bought a classic board game called Game of the Generals, an additional Wii Nunchuk and Wii Remote and got a DLSR Flash as I’m longing to have one.

I’m sure most of you know Game of the Generals which I bought it at Gamewerks in Festival Mall Alabang for P1,250. I had a lot of happy memories with this board game as me and my brother used to play it when we were 8 to 10 years old. Back then we had a GI Joe Game of the Generals. This is a good way to take a break from Playing Online Game.

And finally I bought a Canon 430EX flash for my old model Canon EOS 350D. You see I got 3 different lenses first and made a mistakes not getting a camera flash for the last two years. And now having a flash would mean able to have better portrait shots. Hopefully, I could have a better shot Next Year when there are gaming and Anime Events to attend to.

LU Reward System Page is Up again

The LU Reward System Page has been down for quite sometime but just few days ago I was informed by my fellow Level Up Gamer that we can now use our points earned from the Game Credits we loaded to our game account.

You can check your points by going to my.levelupgame.ph then login to your account. Rewards page link is located somewhere on the down left menu.


For the Rohan Online Philippines gamers, unfortunately, no page yet for exchanging the reward points to IN-game items.

Valentine’s Day for Gamers

Its that time of the year again where the gamers community becomes busy in planning where to go and thinking of what gift to give their loved-one. While some think its time to have a break from going
online, some of these gamers might just spend in-game with their friends and long distance loved-ones. Spending it in-game sometime is more practical and enjoyable for the couples and friends especially the gamers.

Below are some ideas I just thought it earlier. I hope it can help you in planning your Valentine’s Day.

1. You and your honey can go to an Icafe / home and play together. Make sure you treat her by buying something to eat and drink before you start playing on Valentine’s Day.

2. For the gamers who fell inlove in-game and don’t have a chance to go out on a date, what you can do is buy him/her a premium item like a cute pet, hundred potions, fashion outfit, flights and mounts etc.

3. You can also surprise him/her by asking him/her to go online and meet him/her in-game but secretly
you plan to visit him in person on Valentine’s Day.

4. Compile those game screenshots you and your honey did before and put it together. You can add love messages and real photos of both of you. You can use photoshop or paintbrush in editting those
graphics then send it to him/her.

5. If you can ask the GM to shout out your message to your honey In-game then request it. If not, just buy those premium message shoutout item and do it yourself.

This one is interesting. I just finished reading the Philippine Gooogle Zeitgeist 2008 awhile ago. To my surprise the word CABAL was listed as the fastest rising keyword searches during 2008 compared to 2007.

Play and Download International MMORPG with Slower DSL

My DSL connection at home is a little slower than 1Mbps. In most cases when I try playing International MMO titles lag hinders the great gaming experience that these titles give. This would be also enough for me to stop playing the game or games. However, don’t fret as it’s not the end of your gaming satisfaction. Two weeks ago I’ve discovered that playing early in the morning like six(6) in the morning these International MMORPGs runs very smooth. That would last till more or less 10am. It is also good to download game client during this time.

Here are the games I recently spent some time playing: Rohan US, Atlantica, 4Story Global and Khan Thailand. There, try it and you might see the big difference.
